Taiwan is a densely populated, island-based country. It is located on the path of the Pacific Rim volcanic seismic belt and typhoon. The frequency of natural disasters is high, and the promotion and implementation of disaster prevention work is not only the project actively promoted by the government, but also A major focus in junior high and elementary education.
The mapping of the "Disaster Prevention and Dust Map" is an important key in disaster prevention education. In addition to daily evacuation and evacuation drills, disaster prevention and evacuation maps can also play a role in disaster reduction and evacuation route guidance when disasters occur. However, in the disaster prevention education of junior high and elementary schools in Taiwan, the mapping of disaster prevention and refuge maps still mostly stays in the early simple map design, unable to present regional types of potential disasters, and lacks overall planning for community disaster prevention.
The main purpose of this study is to analyze the campus disaster prevention and evacuation maps of the national primary and secondary schools in Hualien County, to observe and understand the current situation of the disaster prevention education and disaster prevention and evacuation maps on the campus site, and then through the connection between the school and the community, through the teachers and students of the school. Collaborate with community residents, using simple map paper points, lines and faces to mark the evacuation sites, evacuation routes, medical ambulance units and high-risk locations of schools and surrounding communities, complete a simple but grassroots "Campus and Community Disaster Prevention and Dust Map".
Therefore, this study believes that disaster prevention education takes root in the junior high and elementary schools and community neighborhoods. In addition to the implementation of various disaster prevention work, adjusting the map of campus disaster prevention and refuge, and considering the interaction between the campus and neighboring communities, can also reduce the risk of disasters. Establish a more complete disaster prevention mechanism and system. |
