This article uses a narrative approach to explore how I, a non-music education major, can gain a foothold in teaching music at the elementary schools as the field of education values certification, academic qualifications and formal training. How do I transform music into a medium for self-affirmation and creating beautiful learning and connection experience when my music academic credentials do not look great. The content is divided into three parts: First, the researcher describes the condition of Tianxin Elementary School: The area is noisy andthe parents are generally low in socioeconomic status. Often the students are restless, and do not consider music learning important.. Nonetheless, I have been able to connect with the school as well as the students via music. Music has created a transformation of the learning atmosphere of students, and also harmonized the relationship between people and the environment. Secondly, I examine my growing up experience. During my childhood, my father went broke due to mishandling financial investment. Our family suffered from lack of meals. My younger sister and I were left alone with being attended by adults since both my parents had to work long hours. During the middle school period, the teacher gave the label to the aboriginal people, which increased my contradictions and low self-esteem. The three important people who helped me to weave music dreams and practice are my father, elementary school tutor and high school music teacher. I also appreciated preschool education workplace. I got to work with talented teachers, and accumulated teaching creativity and class management skills. Finally, the researcher analyzes how I develop sensitivity to the power relationship between social class and ethnicity. I even looked inward and deal with my identity of the aboriginal people who have evaded for many years. The author uses narrative to explore how the life medium of "music" makes life like a vine, which tightens the relationship between the author and his father; expands to deepen her interpersonal and teacher-student relationship, and then realizes that "music" is constantly moving back and forth and makes life beautiful.
