本創作性研究論文期盼透過闡述理念與設計實作，使首飾除能配戴美觀外，更能於配戴的過程中，增加互動及把玩效果，藉此提升首飾之實用性與趣味性。過去首飾產品著重於寶石的重量與價值，導致產品往往千篇一律，顯得有些無趣。經查閱國內外相關藝術家資訊後，發現韓國金工藝術家Dukno Yoon所創作品與多數藝術家迥異，其不由自然中找尋靈感，反之，卻由機械構造來獲取創作概念。Dukno Yoon透過純銀與極細的不銹鋼絲打造一系列機動藝術（Kinetic art）之創作，探索創作品與身體互動的所有方式，以及機動藝術的可能性與希望。
本論文作者，搜集機動藝術文獻與品牌珠寶相關作品，來分析歸納出機動藝術的核心原則，選擇以配戴者的肢體活動來使作品產生運動的此種模式，作為創作形式；再透過搜集的品牌珠寶做主題分類，整理出以自然界生物作為創作主題。創作出寶藏、翩翩、溝通等系列作品。
本研究目的希望在機動藝術前提下，創作者嘗試減少外露結構並提高配戴舒適性及美觀，因過於突起的機械結構會降低配戴實用性及舒適性。一件首飾若只能存放於展示櫃中，也不免令人惋惜，透過增添些許趣味，也許能讓擁有者提高配戴的興致，更能提升首飾的實用性。
相關研究貢獻，在於搜集近年來品牌珠寶有關於機動藝術相關作品，在收集文獻的過程中，可以發現珠寶首飾與機動藝術的發展性。並將相關作品以機動藝術四大原則分類，加以分析、整理與歸納製表。透過創作實踐將首飾之可動性與趣味性提升，期盼讓運用機動藝術之首飾能拉近與配戴者的距離，不僅能妝點自己，並於配戴的過程中，享受發掘首飾與自身更多的互動。

Typical jewelry design has emphasized weight and value of gems over the decades. The trend has caused the products to be drab and had little excitement. The aim of this thesis with creative work is to improve the sense of interactive and entertaining to enhance aesthetics and functions of jewelry while wearing. A combination of idea expression and design practice is used to help achieve this aim.

The study found one of the Korean metalsmithing artists, Dukno Yoon, has worked variant to most of other artists. He has explored mechanical structures as form to inspire his ideas rather than finding stimulation in nature. Yoon has used pure silver and ultra-fine stainless steel wires to create a series of kinetic art to discover all kinds of interactive ways between artwork and bodies. His work has brought prospective possibilities of kinetic art.

As the author of this thesis, I collected art literature and related artwork of brand jewelry and presented the core rules of kinetic art in an inductive analysis. I had been intrigued by the creatures in nature sector while categorizing the themes of jewelry, then chose movement and mechanical structure as form to create his kinetic wearable series, such as “Treasure”, “Fluttering” and “Communicate”.

The study also indicated that it would be a pity if a wearable jewelry can only stay in a glass case. Thus, I tried to minimize the reveal structure based on kinetic art, which the protruded parts would reduce the comfort and utility, to improve wear comfort and looks. I also focused on adding fun element to his artwork to boost the owners’ enjoyment of wearing for raising usefulness of the jewelry.

This thesis has the merit of reorganizing systematically the history of brand kinetic jewelry and tracing the development between jewelry and kinetic art through the ages. Moreover, the study also classified kinetic artworks into four main categories with inductive analysis and tables. Finally, I turned my ideas of increasing movement and entertainment into the physical artwork to accomplish the design goal, that the kinetic art jewelry can create an intimate relationship with the wearer, not only appreciating aesthetics but also discovering the interactive ways between jewelry and body.
