本研究旨在透過自殺者遺族之團體敘說，探索遺族們對失落經驗所建構的意義內涵、賦義對遺族們的影響以及說故事團體中的敘說有何功能或意義。研究者採用敘說研究法結合系統功能語言學，分析六位參與者之團體文本與訪談文本。
　　研究者歸納本研究參與者對失落之賦義內涵，分別為（一）自我內在架構的重整：包括「核心信念」、「情緒」、「宗教信仰」三項主題（二）回顧與串聯自身生命：在受苦與離苦視角中的擺盪，且蘊含「和解」與「改變」的意義（三）逝者的存在意義昇華：逝者以不同形態存在遺族生活中，有「社會面」和「情感面」面向。且其意義內涵並非各自獨立。
　　研究者統整遺族的賦義所產生的四個層面之影響：自我層面影響為「自我挫敗後的自我超越」；生活層面影響為「建構新生活型態」；人際層面影響為「珍視家人、行善社會」；靈性層面影響則為「靈性掙扎後成長」。
　　團體中的敘說功能與意義則包含：（一）觸發：具有「宣洩」與「觀點取替」功能（二）探索（三）位移（四）共鳴（五）見證：蘊含「同理肯定」、「存在性見證」功能。最後，根據研究結果與討論，研究者提出本研究的限制以及未來研究與實務工作的參考建議。

This study aimed to explore the meaning connotation constructed by the survivors about their lost experiences, the impact of meaning endowment on the survivors, and the functions or meanings of the narratives in a suicide survivors’ story-telling group. The researcher used a narrative research method combined with system-functional linguistics to analyze group and interview texts with six participants.
The results of the meaning endowment by participants were: (a) reconstruction of the inner self: including three subthemes: "core beliefs", "emotions" and "religious beliefs" (b) reviewing and connecting one’s own life: oscillating between the perspective of suffering and leaving suffering, and contained the meanings of "reconciliation" and "change" (c) sublimation of the existential meaning of the deceased: the deceased existed in the lives of survivors in different forms.Sublimation included both "social" and "emotional" aspects and its meanings were not independent of each other.
The influence of meaning endowment of loss was reflected in four aspects: (a) self-transcendence after self-defeating (b) construction of a new life style (c) cherishing family members and benefiting others (d) growth after spiritual struggle.The functions or meanings of narration in the group included: (a) trigger: it had the functions of "catharsis" and "perspective taking" (b) exploration (c) displacement (d) resonance (e) witness: it contained the functions of "empathy affirmation" and "existence witness". Finally, based on the results and discussion, the researcher put forward the limitations of this study and suggestions for future research and practical work.
