The study focuses on the experiences of adolescents with adverse childhood experience participating in guidance integrated into Christian spirituality, and explores the transformation of the participants, the occurrence of the transformation, and the meaning of the transformation. The researcher hopes that this study will contribute to psychological practitioners' understanding of the effects of guidance integrated into Christian spirituality.
The study found that the transformation of the participants started from spiritual connection, and the connection with the divine power brought emotional release, transformed the mentality of the participants, and allowed the participants to connect with their inner selves. After the individual's original heart was touched, he/she reshaped his/her perception of the world and worked through his/her connection with others.
