本研究欲探討臺灣大學生的壓力、因應與睡眠品質間的關係,及因應是否為壓力與睡眠品質的中介因子。了解現今大學生的壓力、壓力因應與睡眠品質之現況,並藉由研究結果,教導大學生發展有效的壓力因應方式,以期改善睡眠品質,同時藉此增進身心健康。本研究採問卷調查法,以機會抽樣的方式,於網路上招募研究參與者,使用「中文版壓力知覺量表」、「中文版壓力因應」、「中文版匹茲堡睡眠品質評量表」及一份為期一週的睡眠日誌作為研究工具,共收集324份有效問卷進行資料分析。研究主要有如下發現:(1)「問題解決與認知調整」在壓力與睡眠品質的關係中具有部分中介效果;(2) 壓力越大者,睡眠品質越差;(3) 壓力越大越傾向以「消極逃避」因應,而壓力越小越傾向以「問題解決與認知調整」、「情緒抒發與尋求社會支持」因應;(4) 睡眠品質越差者越傾向以「消極逃避」因應,而睡眠品質越好者越傾向以「問題解決與認知調整」、「情緒抒發與尋求社會支持」因應;(5) 經濟狀況在壓力、睡眠品質與「情緒抒發與尋求社會支持」因應具有顯著差異。最後,本研究依據研究結果提出討論,並針對研究限制和未來相關研究提出建議。
The study aims to examine (1) whether coping strategies was a mediator between the stress and sleep quality, (2) the correlation between stress, coping strategies and sleep quality, (3) and to understand the current situation of stress, coping strategies and sleep quality of College Students in Taiwan. The study will measure college students with convenience sampling, and recruit on internet. The study will use “Chinese 14-item Perceived Stress Scale” , “COPE Chinese version” , “Chinese version of The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index” and sleep diary to measure stress, coping strategy and sleep quality. The study finally recruited 324 college students. The results showed that: (1) “Problem solving and cognitive adjustment” coping play a mediating role between stress and sleep quality. (2) Stress and sleep quality were significantly correlated. (3) Higher stress was associated with more “avoidant” coping, lower stress was associated with more “problem solving and cognitive adjustment” and “expressing of emotion and seeking for social support” coping. (4) Worse sleep quality was associated with more “avoidant” coping, better sleep quality was associated with more “problem solving and cognitive adjustment” and “expressing of emotion and seeking for social support” coping. (5) Financial status were significant differences in stress, sleep quality and “problem solving and cognitive adjustment” coping. The implication of these results is that school should pay more attention on the students who have financial problem, and teach students sleep education, stress management and effective coping strategies for improving sleep quality.
