  本研究旨在探討初顯期成年人邁向成人經驗的內涵。研究者採用現象學研究法,透過「生活世界」、「存而不論」等核心概念來理解現象並回歸經驗本質,以探索並分析六位參與者之訪談文本。
  研究者歸納出以下研究結果:本研究參與者,視「經濟自主」、「自我負責」與「自主決定與實踐」為主要三大成年表徵,同時重視「獨立思考」、「建立家庭/結婚」與「情緒穩定」在成年中的意義。再者,初顯期成年人的自我意象,可歸納為「趨近成年的自我意象」、「擺盪中的初顯期成人:不確定感與矛盾」、「意識自己正邁向成人的過程」,以及「知悉具備的能力與嘗試改變以邁向成人」等四個面向。
研究者統整初顯期成年人社會互動的經驗對邁向成人經驗的意涵與影響,歸納為四項主題:「與他人的互動中,思索自我對成年的看法及自我定位」、「身處環境的支持與彈性,有利於個體發展自主性」、「與他人互動中,提升自我覺察能力與自我改變及調適」與「人際互動中,自我生涯規劃的影響與內涵」。
透過本土文化視角觀察,初顯期成年人邁向成人經驗之意義包含:「社會期待的成年表徵影響個體形塑自我意象」、「本土教育體系下對自主性的影響」與「人際界限對初顯期成人邁向成人經驗之影響」。最後,根據研究結果與討論,研究者對於未來研究方向與實務工作提出參考建議。
The purpose of this study was to explore the connotation of the experience of emerging adults to become adults. The researcher used a phenomenological research method to understand 6 participants’ phenomena and return to their essence of experience through the core concepts of “Lebenswelt”, “epoché”. The results were summarized below. For the participants in this study, “economic autonomy”, “self-responsibility”, and “self-determination and practice” were the three main representations of adulthood. Emerging adults also value the importance of “independent thinking”, “setting up a family/getting married”, and “emotional stability” in adulthood. Furthermore, the self-image of emerging adults could be summarized to four aspects: “self-image approaching adulthood”, “emerging adults in swing: uncertainty and contradiction”, “awareness of oneself on the way to adulthood”, and “awareness of abilities and the attempt to change to become an adult”. The researcher generalized the meaning and influence of emerging adults’ social interaction experiences on the transition to adulthood into four themes: “reflecting on one's view of adulthood and self-orientation in interactions with others”, “support and resilience in the environment is conducive to the development of individual autonomy”, “enhance self-awareness and self-change and adjustment in interactions with others”, and “the influence and connotation of self-career planning in interpersonal interactions”. Observed from the perspective of Taiwanese culture, the meaning of the emerging adult’s experiences towards adulthood included “social expectations of adult characterization affect the body shape of self-image”, “the influence of Taiwanese education system on the cultivation of autonomy”, and “the influence of interpersonal boundaries on the transition from incipient adult experience to adulthood”. Finally, according to the research results and discussion, the researcher put forward some suggestions for future research direction and practical work.
