This study focused on determining the mediating role of ego depletion between the lunch break autonomy, job burnout, abusive supervision, and compulsive buying. Noting the increasing number of household worker, the role of consumer susceptibility to interpersonal influence as a moderation was also considered. Despite the growing numbers of Indonesian household workers in Taiwan, research into their consumer behavior has been limited. Responding to this research gap, this study survey 210 Indonesian household workers in Taiwan. The results revealed that antecedent variables such as lunch break autonomy, abusive supervision, and job burnout have significant and positive influence on ego depletion. Ego depletion also appeared to have mediate effects on lunch break autonomy, job burnout, and compulsive buying, but not with abusive supervision. Ego depletion has a significant positive influence to compulsive buying. However, the moderated mediated influence is rejected in this research.
