本研究運用國發會所編列之相關景氣循環指標與行政院主計總處「運輸業薪資」，以1993年1月至2017年12月期間共300個月資料，比對台灣景氣循環及股市大盤基準日期高、低點之間領先、落後關係；探討運輸業薪資與景氣循環對應時的領先落後情况、影響程度及領先落後之順序關係。本研究的主要結果如下。第一，鐵路及大眾捷運系統運輸業薪資領先落後指數平均值，不論在高峰及谷底期間均領先基準日，代表鐵路及大眾捷運系統運輸業薪資較不受景氣影響，鐵路及大眾捷運系統運輸業薪資可做為景氣與股市大盤的領先指標。第二，本研究六大類運輸業薪資差異百分比之平均值，高峰期間介於1.75%至7.59%，谷底期間介於3.05%至6.09%，顯示六大類運輸業薪資不論在景氣高峰或谷底時波動都相對穩定。

This study applied the business indicators released by National Development Council and the “salaries in the transportation industry” data released by Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics of Executive Yuan to explore the lead-lag relations of the salaries in the transportation industry relative to Taiwan’s business cycles and stock market indices. Based on a dataset spanning 300 months from Jan 1993 to Dec 2017, this study analyzed the leading/lagging status of the salary in each sector of the transportation industry relative to business cycles, the impact of business cycles, and the leading and lagging orders. The findings were summarized as follows. First,the average lead-lag indicator of the salary in the railway/mass rapid transit sector was leading the baseline value no matter during the peak or trough of a business cycle, indicating the salary in railway/mass rapid transit sector was less susceptible to business cycles and could serve as a leading indicator of the business condition and the stock market index. Second, among the six sectors of the transportation industry, the average salary differences ranged between 1.75% and 7.59% during peak periods and between 3.05% and 6.09% during trough periods, suggesting that the salaries in the six sectors of the transportation industry were relatively stable no matter during the peak or trough of a business cycle.
