Research on work stress and its relationship with other human resource functions is quite predictable. This study advanced the notion of stress literatures by focusing on possible mediating role work stress. Further the current study investigated an interesting behavior and this certain behavior has any influence on the relationship between emotional demand and work stress. How emotional demand effect on employee’s outcomes stressed employee’s work outcomes (job satisfaction, engagement, turnover intention) would be higher or lower compared to normal situations. Results of the study indicate that there is significant relation between those variables which means positive or negative effect exists between them. Interestingly, work stress has statistically significant mediating role between emotional demand and outcomes. Furthermore, moderating role of online group buying behavior investigated. Our findings revealed that online group buying behavior does not moderate the relationship between emotional demand, work stress, employee engagement and turnover intention. Through this study employees would have better understanding of stress related issues and this study contributed that this behavior has positive influence on employees.
