The potentials of the city has to be discovered by artists and creators. The phrase 「The mission of dead space reviving」is a contradictory action, an abandoned space is usually considered for being dirty and empty but its existence can prove history, it proves the existence and pass of an old time lifestyle.
Therefore there’s a group of people, they know there’s a reason why the abandons exist, they see the beauty of the past and the brightness in the future, they occupied the space by using art and graffiti, with all the actions they made, the building is no longer dirty and dilapidated, some of the art works represent contemporary while others represent environmental issues. In this generation, we have our own unique style in expressing art, we combine different styles of art and created a space that’s one of a kind. The old city has come to its dawn, now let the sun rise again in the new generation, giving the dead a new life.
People are tearing apart the olds and broken while the artists are reviving them, giving the building a new spirit instead of a new look. The study and creativity I’m describing now comes along with all the other young generation artists as we work as a team while taking actions, we have strong enthusiasms and willpower, together, we can make history.
The artists all have their own style in graffiti, we combine all the styles and make the building into a collective creator space, waking up the dead and making it into something spectacular, we don’t get rid of the old and broken, we combine them and revive them, so that the citizens in Taiwan could discover us and see what we’re doing, we will let people witness history and miracle, in the end of the day, our deeds will be passed on to the next generation.
