本研究目的為瞭解棒球不同守備位置（投手、捕手、野手）與心理因素（人格特質、競賽焦慮、心理技能）之關係，以高中木棒組選手為例，探討不同守備位置與心理因素之差異及關連。研究以108年度曾報名高中木棒組之學校棒球隊選手為研究參與者，採問卷調查方式，使用大五因素人格量表、特質性焦慮量表、運動員心理技能量表。共發出132份問卷，其有效樣本為110份。研究結果如下：一、不同守備位置對心理因素有顯著效果。其中守備位置在開放性上有顯著差異，野手的開放性得分高於捕手。二、外向性、嚴謹性、專注與擔任投手的機率有顯著關連；外向性、特質焦慮及球齡與擔任捕手的機率有顯著關連；心理因素與擔任野手的機率無顯著關聯。根據本研究結果，建議高中棒球教練在守備位置選材時，除了考量選手的棒球技術及體能條件外，亦可將心理因素做為評估之依據。同時針對後續研究者提出建議。

This study aimed at understanding the relationship between different defensive positions (pitcher, catcher, fielder) and psychological factors (personality, competitive anxiety, psychological skills) in baseball, and exploring the differences and relationships between different defensive positions and psychological factors. Participants in the study were the school baseball players who had taken part in the high school wooden-bat group in 108. The questionnaire survey was used as the method, including International English Big-Five Mini-Markers Traditional Chinese Version, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-T), Athletic Psychological Skills Inventory. There were 132 questionnaires sent out, with 110 valid samples. The research results are as follows: (1) Different defense positions have significant psychological factors. And the defensive position has a significant difference in openness, and the openness score of the fielder is higher than that of the catcher. (2) Extroversion, Conscientiousness, and Concentration were significantly related to the probability of being a pitcher; Extroversion, trait anxiety, and baseball training period were significantly related to the probability of being catcher; psychological factors are not significantly related to the probability of being a fielder. According to the results of this study, it is recommended that high school baseball coaches not only consider the players' baseball skills and physical conditions but also use psychological factors as the evaluation when selecting talents for the defense position. In the end some suggestions for future researchers.
