Knowledge sharing is a key enabler for the organization's knowledge management where individuals play a major role in its success. Understanding the individual personality is also important as it is a significant factor of individual working behavior. Each individual has a different personality that may differently affect the willingness to share their knowledge. Therefore, the current study analyzed the different effects of personality traits between openness personality and agreeableness personality on knowledge sharing in the workplace. Besides that, the mediating role of technology usage behavior is also being proposed to find evidence of the effect of information technology on the relationship between personality traits and knowledge sharing behavior. In addition, a cross-country analysis was being conducted to analyze the effect of national differences on knowledge sharing in the workplace of Indonesia and Taiwan.
