本研究旨在了解35-55歲中年女性如何以靈性協助其因應中年期所面對的生涯任務與挑戰。研究者以立意取樣方式選取4位中年女性在中年生涯中具有親身的靈性實踐經驗，以敘事取向進行研究，透過半結構式訪談蒐集資料，並以類別-內容方式進行資料分析。

研究結果發現，中年女性生涯與靈性的關係可分為四部分，(1) 中年生涯的重大事件是對靈性的召喚；(2) 靈性促使自我轉化，走向個人的完整性；(3) 靈性療癒受創的身心，讓身心靈達到平衡；(4) 靈性引領新的生涯方向與生命意義。中年女性生涯的靈性實踐經驗可分為：(1) 在生涯重大事件中覺察靈性任務；(2) 靈性實踐方式隨個人生命風格開展，尋找靈性實踐的方法可透過探索與覺察內外在靈性資源，包含從早期經驗中探索、創造心理空間，覺察內在聲音、跟隨宗教信仰指引、留意生活中的同步性；(3) 靈性在生涯中鍛鍊與擴展，整理出的靈性內涵包括：召喚、轉化、連結、心理正向經驗、整合與擴展。

最後，就中年女性生涯與靈性的關係、生涯中的靈性實踐經驗，研究者彙整出四位研究參與者的靈性實踐歷程，並對研究限制、未來研究、生涯輔導與諮商實務工作者及中年女性提出相關建議。

The main purpose of this study was to explore how midlife women aged 35-55 coping with the career tasks and challenges they faced in spirituality way. The research adopted the narrative reach and the depth of qualitative interviews with four midlife women had spiritual practice experiences in their career. With the “ categories-content” analysis, narrative research was applied to analyze four life stories and made a comprehensive discussion. Conclusion of this study were as the following.

The results of the study found that the relationship between participants' midlife and spirituality has four parts: (1) the major events of midlife are a call to spirituality; (2) spirituality promotes this self-transformation towards a personal wholeness; (3) Spirituality heals the wounded body and mind and achieve a balance of body、mind and spirituality ; (4) Spirituality guides the new direction of career and life meaning. The spiritual practice experience in middle-aged life can be divided into: (1) awareness of spiritual tasks in major events of life; (2) The way of spiritual practice develops according to personal life style, and the way to find spiritual practice can be found through exploration and awareness of internal and external spiritual resources , including exploring and creating psychological space from early experiences, being aware of inner voices, following the guidance of religious beliefs, and paying attention to the synchronicity in life; (3) spirituality is exercised and expanded in life, and the spiritual connotations sorted out include: calling, transformation, connection, psychological positive experience, integration and Expansion.
In addition, the researcher integrated the relationship between midlife women's career and spirituality, and the spiritual practice experiences in their career to the spiritual practice development of the four participants.

Finally, the researcher had suggestions about the research limitations, future research, career counselor and midlife women who have some challenges in their career.
