童年情感忽視是一種隱而不見的創傷,容易遭受忽視,使得受創者難以妥善被接應而有較高風險深陷於困境之中,且過往研究大多聚焦於創傷造成的後果,於是本研究的目的在於透過探究遭受童年情感忽視者的主觀生活經驗,置身了解其經驗困境,並理解與辨認其創傷的意義,尋求復原的可能。本研究採立意取樣,與四名遭受童年情感忽視者進行訪談,接著採用詮釋現象學分析(IPA)方法為基底,整合雪埠學派(Sheffield School)的修正以及Max van Manen所提出的詮釋現象學(Hermeneutic phenomenology)觀點進行質化資料分析。研究成果呈現出遭受童年情感忽視者的整體生活經驗樣貌,並可從中發現其復原路徑。首先,當受創者無法與父母建立起足夠穩固的情感連結,將影響其自我感的形成,進一步導致生活中的困境。由於受創者難以從家庭情境中獲得情感需求的滿足,使其轉而朝向家庭以外的人際關係尋求滿足,但因過於強烈的渴求與人際技巧的缺乏,而容易反覆陷入人際困境中,並可能遭遇高風險情境。然而,家庭以外的人際關係卻也是復原的關鍵,受創者在獲得足夠穩定的社會支持後,便能踏上復原之路。本研究也發現有兩條不同的復原路徑,其一路徑終止於自身的療癒與復原,而另一路徑將在自我復原後轉向修復與父母、家庭之間的關係。
This study aims to understand the subjective life experiences of individuals who endured childhood emotional neglect and uncover the meaning of their trauma for potential recovery. Using purposive sampling, interviews were conducted with four participants who experienced childhood emotional neglect. The data was analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), integrating the modified Sheffield School methodology and the hermeneutic phenomenology perspective of Van Manen. The findings provide an overview of survivors' lived experiences, highlighting the impact of insecure attachments and the subsequent struggles in forming relationships. Seeking fulfillment outside the family, survivors encounter interpersonal difficulties and high-risk situations. However, stable social support is crucial for their recovery journey. Two recovery paths were identified: self-healing and repairing relationships with parents/family.
