With case study and purposive sampling, a 20-year after-school club with good word-of-mouth is selected as the case in this study. The current situation of the after-school club and the interaction with school teachers are understood through in-depth interview and documentary research, and the role and function of the teachers in childhood education are further analyzed. The research conclusions are summarized as below. I. Analysis of current situation of the after-school club Children in the after-school club are generally treated as family members that the teachers stress a lot on pupils’ behavior and learning conditions. The specialty, environmental planning, education concept, and interaction of the after-school club meet the requirements of parents to form the delicate, quality, and characteristic education place. II. Interaction between the after-school club teachers and schools In the interaction between both parties, teachers of the after-school club mainly play the active and positive role and adopt multiple interaction methods to change the indifferent relationship into friendly to further enhance the teaching knowledge and skills as well as to help pupils’ learning and development. III. Role of teachers of the after-school club in childhood education In the teacher-student, parent-teacher, and teacher-teacher relationship, teachers of the after-school club present different role definitions on different objects. In this case, teachers of the after-school club play multiple roles of assistants in homework guidance, coordinators in parent-children relationship, and teaching partners in childhood education. VI. Function of teachers of the after-school club in childhood education The interview results with teachers of The Sun Elementary School reveal that teachers of the after-school club develop significant functions, including after-school care and pupils’ learning, mind, and interpersonal interaction. The teachers’ accompany and assistance show positive effects on pupils’ childhood education. According to the research results, relevant suggestions are proposed for the reference of after-school clubs, schools, education administration units, and future research.
