The COVID-19 caused some people to lose their jobs and be forced to take unpaid leave at the end of 2019, and the government is also making emergency relief plans. With the long-term impact of the COVID-19, how to deal with it? Because the COVID-19, people and some industries changed their life way in the past. In this study, the Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) was used to analyze and examine the response of the sample according to the company's stock price return, and regression was used to prove whether the impact of the Co-existence policy. We used 21 samples of Taiwan's tourism industry stocks, 122 samples of biotechnology and medical stocks, and 30 samples of stay-at-home economy stocks for 5 days before and after the event, to test COVID-19 and Co-existence policy with virus on firms of Taiwan. The empirical results showed that the impact of COVID-19 and Co-existence policy with virus on firms of Taiwan was negative abnormal return for the biotechnology and medical industry, negative abnormal return for the stay-at-home economy industry, and positive abnormal return for the tourism industry.this study found the impact of the COVID-19 and Co-existence policy with virus on firms of Taiwan, especially those in related industries that are affected by the pandemic phase trend. Provide important investment management directions and set possible investment targets for investors.
