Free-form-drawing is a form of drawing without prior composition, without depicting concrete figures, without limiting the drawing medium, by using points, lines, and blocks as the basic elements of artistic creation. The artwork is carried out through simple and easy-to-use techniques with the consciousness of the present moment. Simplicity and convenience are the keys to popularizing artistic creation. The simplicity and convenience of Free-form-drawing make it easy for everyone to practice, which is conducive to the popularization and promotion of artistic creation. The process of self-witnessing is meditation, which can help people quickly return to inner peace. Artistic creation can bring people into a state of flow, reaching a deep inner peace and joy. How to easily merge "meditation" and "artistic creation" into life is the core of this research. A combination of meditation and Free-form-drawing is the focus of this study. Through the cycle of "planning-action-reflection-revision" of action research, this study has developed a course on “Meditative Free-form-drawing” to help students grasp the essence of Free-form-drawing. The secondary objective is to explore the influence of this course on the participants' spiritual growth and self-confidence in artistic creation. The main research result of this study is this course consisting of three main axes suitable for adult education and appropriate teaching model with eight steps and appropriate teaching strategies and teaching techniques. The key conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. This course is very helpful for the adults' capbility of self-awareness and relaxation, self-confidence in artistic creation, and emotion transformation. 2. This course can help develop the habit of merging artistic creation into life, and the participants are also happy to share Meditative Free-form-drawing with others, and will draw it on a daily basis.
