Taiwan's confinement food industry is a fragmented industry, the government has no relevant policies and regulations, and the industry has no relevant associations to integrate. In recent years, women's childbearing age has increased year by year and birth rate has decreased, resulting in a sharp decline in the number of births, making it the country with the lowest number of births in the world. However, the postpartum care industry continues to innovate. Under the crisis of declining birth rate of confinement meals, researchers use the backward integration strategy to expand the service level, diversify the output value, and become a competitive and cooperative partner with the industry. This study uses analysis methods such as "Five Forces Analysis", "SWOT", and "Strategy Matrix" to illustrate the attractiveness of the confinement meal industry and the business model of the industry. Based on the theory of Michael Porter's (1980) competitive strategy, this study incorporates the concept of competition and cooperation, jumping out of the framework of previous analysis of transformation strategies, to illustrate the researcher's thinking logic of becoming a competitive partner with peers through a backward integration strategy. Enterprises are relatively scarce and rare cases, which is the main contribution of this study.
