The conflict between family and work is one of the common challenges faced by modern couples. In today's society, people expect men and women to be able to balance their roles in the family and fulfill their work responsibilities simultaneously. However, in reality, many factors can lead to conflicts between these two domains, ultimately affecting individuals' sense of well-being. Based on the conservation of resources theory, the primary purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between perceived family-work conflict, negative emotions and well-being, as well as the moderating role of leisure crafting. 129 full-time employees in Taiwan were included in the survey by questionnaire and regression analysis. The questionnaire data were collected through two-stage methods. The results showed: (1) Family-work conflict has a positive correlation with negative emotions. (2) Negative emotions are negatively related to well-being. (3) Family-work conflict will negatively affect well-being through the mediating effect of negative emotions. (4) Leisure remodeling does not have a significant negative effect on negative emotions and well-being. Finally, we discuss theoretical and practical implications and future research directions.
