Drawing on the conservation of resources theory, the present study examines the relationship between workplace aggression, workplace anxiety, and job burnout. We hypothesize that psychological capital can buffer the influence of workplace aggression and workplace anxiety. We collect two waves of data from 492 full-time employees in Taiwan and perform regression analysis. The results indicate that workplace aggression is positively related to workplace anxiety, and workplace anxiety is positively related to job burnout. Additionally, psychological capital does not moderate the relationship between workplace aggression and workplace anxiety. Based on the findings, this study suggests further research directions and practical implications.
