Creation is an act of manifesting perception, transforming external objects and internal emotions into tangible entities that can be recognized, and endowing them with describable imagery. The process of abstract meaning evolving into concrete concepts is filled with illusions and ambiguity. Each creator undoubtedly possesses their own unique forms of transformation. This research, starting from the author's own experiences, explores the phenomenon of personal creation as the main topic of investigation. Through analyzing various perspectives, the aim is to gain a deeper understanding of how one's creative process unfolds and reaches completion.
By exploring the field of perceptual theory and engaging in self-exploration of creative forms, the author gradually shifts the focus of sensory perception from mere visual concentration to encompass the observation of the entire physical body. Through this process, a profound comprehension arises from the interplay between internal and external objects. In the journey of continuous creation, the once inexpressible sensibilities become clear and visible with each creative endeavor. Within the embodiment of melancholic spirit, the author discovers their unique sense of beauty and unfolds their own self-image.
This thesis titled "Sensing Objects, Knowing Grief" signifies the author's attitude towards perceiving objects. Starting from the stillness of contemplative mind, the rich sensibilities stored within are dedicated to personal observations and experiences. Drawing inspiration from the notion of "knowing grief," the aim is to explore further possibilities of infusing emotions through observing objects, conveying the author's insights and experiences of the diverse phenomena in the world.
