  本研究旨在辨析影響臺灣後期中等教育階段技職教育吸引力的相關因素,探討不同背景變項下,技術型高中學生、教師對於技職教育吸引力觀點的差異,並嘗試建立技職教育吸引力框架。爲達研究目的,透過文本分析闡述臺灣中等技職教育發展沿革脈絡,並參照其他主要國家中等技職教育體系概況,以對現狀獲得更廣泛認識;並就相關文獻理論歸結出技職教育吸引力影響因素的相關向度及具體指標。
  隨後據以發展「高級中等技職教育之吸引力調查問卷」,對2,154位學生進行調查;並訪談共30位技術型高中學生及教師,深刻詮釋學生觀點,亦結合教師意見,與文本分析結果互相印證,藉此探討技職教育吸引力之內涵及意義,並得以提供後續研究及辦理中等技職技育之參考。研究主要發現如下:
一、辨析出影響臺灣地區技職教育對於技術型高中學生吸引力的因素,可分為「對技職教育進路的期待」、「社會大眾印象」、「家人支持」、「技職學校品質」、「就學滿意程度」、「終身學習意願」六項因素。
二、確定不同背景變項下技職教育吸引力呈現的顯著差異,其中東部地區學生較關注技職教育的將來職涯發展;動力機械群學生亦著重技職教育務實致用的特色。
三、察覺技術型高中學生隱含兩種特殊印象,一為忽略專業學科的重要,稱「專業的假象」;二為輕視共同科目價值,稱「偏向的取捨」,陷入唯技術獨尊的迷思。
四、迴歸及路徑分析發現「就學滿意程度」可使用其他五項因素進行有效解釋及預測。
五、基於研究結果,建立得以解釋及預測技職教育吸引力影響因素之可能模型。
 This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the attractiveness of technological and vocational education in the upper secondary education stage in Taiwan, and to explore the views of skill-based senior high school students and teachers on the attractiveness of technological and vocational education under different background variable. Try to establish a framework that can effectively explain and predict the attractiveness of technological and vocational education. In order to achieve the purpose of research, this study elaborated the context of the development of secondary technological and vocational education in Taiwan through textual analysis, and refer to the overview of the secondary technological and vocational education system in other major countries in order to have a broader understanding the current status; moreover, summarizes the relevant dimensions and explicit index affecting the attractiveness of technological and vocational education in the upper secondary education stage in Taiwan according to the relevant literature theory.
 Subsequently, according to the development of the "Technological and Vocational Education Attractiveness Questionnaire", 2,154 students were surveyed; and a total of 30 skill-based senior high school students and teachers were interviewed to deeply interpre their views. It also combines the opinions of teachers and the results of textual analysis to verify each other, to explore the connotation and significance of the attractiveness of technological and vocational education, and to provide follow-up research and reference for secondary technological and vocational education. The findings of this study are as follows:
1.The six factors affecting the attractiveness of secondary technological and vocational education in Taiwan to skill-based senior high school students can be divided into “The expectation of the technological and vocational education approach”, “The impression of the public”, “Family support”, “Quality of technological and vocational school”, “Satisfaction at skill-based senior high school”, and “willingness for lifelong learning”.
2.The significant differences in the attractiveness of technological and vocational education under different background variables are determined. Among them, students in the eastern region pay more attention to the future career development of technological and vocational education; the students of the Power Mechanical Engineering Group also emphasize the characteristics of practical.
3.It is obvious that skill-based senior high school students imply two special impressions, one is to ignore the importance of professional disciplines, called "professional illusion"; the second is to despise the value of common subjects, called "biased choice", and fall into the myth that only focuses on skills.
4.Regression and path analysis found that "study satisfaction" can be effectively explained and predicted using five other factors.
5.Based on the research results, establish a possible model to explain and predict the factors affecting the attractiveness of technological and vocational education.
